The systematic-theological area at CIRRuS stand in the tradition of the Ecumenical Movement and the Latin American Liberation Theology.
The study of Pentecostalism and Liberation Theology leads to formulating the theology of the Holy Spirit in an ecologically and politically relevant way, starting from the universalistic approach of the Old Testament to Ruah Jahwe. This line of thought presupposes a theological hermeneutics that places the social context of those doing theology at the center of reflection.
